Ok a little researching I figured this out. Sending email to your own email address does not work, so if thats what your using to test it out, use a different email address, like a gmail account, I tested gmail, and I sent an email to another comcast address and it works. Just don't send email to your own address.

heres what your settings should be:

    Incoming

    host Name : mail.comcast.net
username : xxxxx do not put @comcast.net
    Password ; xxxxxxx

    Outgoing

    Host ; smtp.comcast.net
Username ; xxxxx do not put @comcast.net
    Password; xxxxxx

Advanced; Incoming uses SSL - OFF
    Outgoing uses SSL - ON

    Authentication; Password
