k...so I have an iPad right now...and will soon be getting an iPT 4g...and I want to have mail on both devices.

My questions is will it just save copies of every email on each device? Or is there a setting I have to change?

I can only speak for gmail, but it will send copies to both devices so as long as you don't delete the email on one, it'll still be there on the other.

If you set up an IMAP/Push (Exchange) account it will. I don't know about POP, I think it'll take it from the server if it is POP. Make sure it's IMAP (or Exchange).
