Mail leeching 25MB RAM?!?

    Ever since a few days ago, mail has only taken at most 11MB. Now it's hogging more than 25MB and it's making my iPod painfully laggy! I keep all my folders and inbox empty, so I have no idea what's going on...

    Set your mailboxes to fetch data less often or set it to manual. When it is set to manual the mail app does not need to run and the process can be killed with SBSetting or MemTool.

    I want to know why it's leeching so much memory. It's not normal.

    just get processes for sbsettings and kill it when your not using it

    Have you added any mail accounts recently? That could explain it.

    When exiting mail, hold your home button for 10 seconds then release.
