I have installed every ipone app on my touch except for stocks, and they all work fine except for mail. It crashes almost immediatley upon loading. I've tried changing its permissions, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Did you really changed the permissions for ALL new subfolders AND files inside?

Did you install GMMFrameworks and MobileMailSettings.bundle?

I'm quite positive that I changed all the permissions; I'll double-check when I have the time. And yeah, I did get install the GMMFrameworks and MobileMailSettings.bundle.

    from the sticky

A method to resolve crash in windows (By mepman)
If your apps crash then login to putty(http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe)
with username: root & password: alpine and type the following.

    /bin/csh

    /bin/chmod -Rf a+x /Applications/*

Similarly, using terminal in OS X, ssh to your iPod Touch, and type the above

This same problem happened to me and this fixed it.

Well, I tried that, and I double-checked the permission settings. So far as I can tell, everything is as it should be. Anything else that I could possibly need?
