    Hey guys,

I just got around to putting the iPhone apps back onto my iPod (when going to 1.1.2 had a whole mess of problems, but now I have a jailbreaked 1.1.2), and all of them work fine except for mail.

Whenever I try to run it, it shows for a second, than crashes. I have done this a couple of times before (I've had to restore a couple of times), and I've never had a problem. I've checked and double checked the permissions, so I'm kinda at a loss here...

    Any ideas?

Edit: Forgot to add, I set it up fine, it was just when I receive messages that it crashes.

I believe this app and map.app don't function with 1.1.2 - I am having the same problem it just crashes. We need to get the mail.app from a current working iphone, and copy that over.

Does anybody here have a working Mail.app from a jailbroken iPhone by any chance?

WRONG! You guys might have installed the Mail.app from 1.1.1 to iPod Touch 1.1.2! That's the problem, it won't work.

Try to add repo.us.to to your installer sources, you can install the new iPhone apps from there!

Actually, the launch & then crash of Mail is typically due to the mail prep not being installed from what I've seen... I'd double-check that you've got it installed...

I was about to say..the only ones here people are complaining about crashing are Mail and Maps. You MUST install the preps first for these two to work properly..just double check on that one guys!
