    As the title suggests my mail client which comes with the Touch is no longer working. I have tried various things such as restarting and downloading SBSettings from Cydia and using the method here but nothing works;

    Am I the only one that sees "Restore" written somewhere close?
    Sorry but I don't see another solution. Download aptbackup from cydia it's awesome for restoring jb apps after restore.

    Yah, I'd do that also.

    AppBackup from Cydia will also back up your game saved data, but you need to SSH to
    /private/var/mobile/Library/AppBackup, and back up everything in the directory.

    Restore it after your restore, although I think iTunes will handle most games saved games, but its still good to have a backup.

    As for backing up jailbroken apps, as freemini said, AptBackup is the way to go.

    Yes, I saw the restore option but didn't want to......

    . Anyway, I downloaded that app and backed up my 'jailbreak stuff' and then restored my iPod. Well it worked but unfortunately I hadn't backed up my iPod in iTunes

    . I thought that everytime you sync it automatically backs up - that's what it states on the Apple site, oh well. Anyway the restore 'restored' my email client and now that's working and I jailbroke my iPod again and it's back to behaving itself now !

    I don't think I should get so carried away with downloading so many themes and apps from Cydia which may or may not influence whether my iPod crashes or not. Thanks EVERYONE for your help, it was much needed .
