mail app trouble - after open it, it automatically closes directly

    Hi there,

    i reset my Ipod today morning and installed the iphone applications from the backupsource (any source like googlepages.com/repo.xml). Now i try to open the Mail APP and it closes directly after open it. What can be the reason for that behaviour?

    --- update ---
    problem fixed with package download failed but i still cannot open mail app. it still closes. i already tried to reinstall / uninstall it, but it's still on the screen after uninstall. after a new installation same error occurs.

    Add ipodtouchmasters repo and install the Mail fix

    run this command in terminal or putty:

    chown -R mobile:mobile /private/var/mobile

    how do you use terminal cuase it said i need a password for it please help.

    edit nvm i got it to work and i did the code. it said changing permission not permitted. please help. yes i installe SUID fix. i am on 1.1.4 i used ziphone method. and my itunes is the most current as of today may 6 2008.

    same problem

    Have the same exact problem but I tried the terminal command but it still doesnt work. I used iliberty and I'm on 1.1.4 somebody please help!
