    Hi Guys!

Unfortunately the mail app isn't made for the ipod touch.

When you've a new email then you will get an alert trough the speakers/headphones...
I'm searching developers to make an alert that will play on the iPod Touch without the headphones... so an click sound like in alarm.app.
Who sees the possibility to let work this?

You can email me (benitoguarneri AT gmail DOT com) or write a reply in this topic.

    Thanks,

    Bennoo

the weird thing about the Taskbar Notifier is that sometimes if you restart Summerboard, it is no longer there. you have to restart your ipod manually.

Google for iMapIdle which notifies you when you have a new mail. It apparently runs in conjunction with the Mail.app though they're unsure of how much battery power it eats up, being constantly on and all.

Yeah the taskbar notifier is very helpful. For the email, we need a click that its repeated, rather than just a single click like the unlock sound.

eg: click click click click click
    if you get me!
