Magnetic worries!!

    Hey, I just bought a case from eBay, but it closes by magnets, will the magnets affect my iPod?

    No, because it's a flash memory device, not a hard drive.

    Mines closes with magnets, no problems at all, I perfer it to most cases aswell, you should like it.

    Interesting, I didnt know magnets only affect hard drives. Thanks for the info mate.

    Hard drives won't be affected by small magnets found in clasps. Even the very powerful ones found within hard drives won't erase HDs if left on the metal case. These neodymium magnets (http://www.unitednuclear.com/magnets.htm) now that's another story.
