OMG, Does this mean the 3G iPhone was actually hacked?

But can you even use iTunes to activate it?

    Read Front Page:

    www.ifans.com

Now remember, it said UNLOCK. Nothing about Jailbreaking.

I think this is BS as the previous software 1.1.4 took muck longer to unlock and I doubt it has gotten easier

Now remember, the time between 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 was one month.

Where as the time between 1.1.4 and 2.0 has been SEVERAL months.

And the Beta HAS been floating around. So it IS possible that 2.0 has been Unlocked, but not yet Jailbroken.

I just want to unlock it, screw jailbreaking it's so damn pointless with the App Store.

let's say it has been unlocked. I still doubt it will be of any use to American customers as you are all envitably doomed to AT&T. And your front page story on maybe being able to activate ( or should I say unlock) your iPhone at home still seems a long shot.

How are unlocked iPhones doomed to AT&T? How about T-Mobile? They also have a 3G Network. I mean, if you can't use the 3G Network, you can still use it as a Phone.

he just unlocked the 2.0 FW for the curent iPhone. NOT the 3G iPhone.

So you can upgrade your old iPhone to 2.0 and unlock it. How the hell could he unlock a phone that no one outside of apple has?

I think its BS. How did he get the final release of the FW? I think he is just despert for hits on his site. So he posting bull to get atention.

I could be wrong. But it wouldn't be the first load of crap to come from him.
