I went out and purchased the following...

    *Apple Mini-DVI to Video Adapter
    *RCA cable
    *S-Video cable
*And the audio cable that has plugs into the headphone jack and has the A.V cables on the other end.

I tried everything. I tried a tube t.v and a HD monitor for my Windows based PC and yet nothing seems to be working. I can't get my picture to show up on any screen.

Can anyone help me because when I called Apple today, the representative I talked to has no right to work for Apple as she is illiterate as hell. Help?

Is there a small monitor icon in your toolbar at the top? If there isnt, then go into system pref's and go to "Displays." Then click detect displays.

I've done that. I checked off "Display in menu bar" and I still haven't been able to get the screen to display on either the T.V or the HD monitor.
