I came into work this morning and this was sitting on my desk, my client apparently got rear ended and this macbook was sitting on his front set. It was thrown through the windshield and to my surprise it still boots and I was able to transfer the data off of it. I just had to use an external monitor to see the screen! Hats off to Apple...

How do you "accidentally" run over a 1k computer? That's like accidentally forgetting your child. Which now that I think about it, many do.

He put it on his car, forgot it was there, then pulled forward to backup. Crunch. It still worked tho. It was very impressive.

I guess this is why they don't make them out of plastic

What does it being an Apple product have to do with anything? Are you suggesting that, because it's made by an elite brand, people are more likely to have the urge to break it?

I think he means that Apple products are durable, as shown by how it still works.
