I bought a macbook pro 2 days ago. I love it and its great and all but I got this battery health app. It says 98.8% and iStat says 99%. Is that normal for a brand new macbook pro? It has 2 charge cycles and supposedly these batteries are supposed to start losing charge after like 1000 charge cycles. Is this just a false indicator or is it because my battery has not been calibrated yet? If its the calibration, How can I calibrate my battery? Thanks for the help

Drain it, then fully charge it to calibrate the battery.

My Macbook Pro that I got a year ago, says 98% charged right now. I don't really worry about it as sometimes its 100% charged and sometimes its 96% charged.
