    My question is should i get a 15" macbook pro now or wait till next year.

    Will there be quad core? will it be cheaper?
    How about a new design?

    I'd say go for it. Having a MacBook would be amazing either way.

    i hope it gets a quad core i7 in 2010 and give me a 2000 dollar discount on it because i really want it

    ^Yeah, cause that's totally going to happen.

    I see a slight update to the processor (remember, I said slight) with perhaps some new features/ more ports/ something to make it look like a big upgrade.

    And that's about it. Perhaps a small price drop.

    lol... actually, a lot of PC laptops are now becoming quad core. whether they are 1.6 GHz core 2 quads or 3 ghz i7s, apple macbook pro is only dual core and costs twice as much as a pc with the same specs. i think the 17 inch model, which hasnt received an upgrade recently, will get a quad core 2.8/2.66 GHz
