    Hi,

This is not what I wanted,
I wanted my Mac to lock down before booting
to Mac OS X. Standard Firmware lock locks
Mac when I hold alt button

He wants to put a password in the BIOS if it was a Windows machine. Because Mac does not have a BIOS, you will have to set a Firmware Password. How to do it is located Here provided by Apple.
