My Macs boot up time is pretty slow now, it takes about a minute or so, and used to be about 25 seconds. There was a time where my MacBook was stuck at the spinning apple screen and i had to keep pressing the power button, but that didn't work, so i took it to the apple store and the employee did an Archive and Install from an external hard drive. Ever since, its boot up time has been pretty slow. Is there anything that i can do to it boot up faster? Was it hard on the computer to keep pressing the power button? Feedback please.

    Thanks,

Get Onyx and run some maintenance scripts, clear the cache, etc. If that doesn't do it, think about a fresh install.
