Hey thanks guys for reading this!! I am thinking about buying a Macally IVOICEPRO for my Touch 2g. I am a student in college and would LOVE to record classes on my ipod touch. It is running 3.0 and has the memo/voice recording. I checked the other posts that came up on the search and was curious what people thought of this Macally IVOICEPRO. I need something that will record voice...no music...and be able to sync it and play it on my laptop. I am able to place the device in 90% of my classes on top of my podium the prof talks from.

If this is the right device...great let me know

If you have another suggestion...i would love to know that also.

You can just get the headset from the iPhone for recording.

Do NOT get the Macally iVoice II for the 3.0 2G iPod. It does not work (or, I'll sell you mine for half price...)

It works perfectly the very first time you plug it in, but Apple delibertely blocked it in v3.0 - the second time I plugged it in I got a message "Apple does not support this product" and it was never recognized again. A ripoff, for the sake of Apple's head cyber-Nazi. There was NO reason to do this except to feed Stevie's greed...

The iVoice3 is actually better, Just form my experience and from what I have heard and seen.

Its cheaper and does everything the iVoicePro does.

For the iVoice2, stay away from that.

iVoice3 is compatible with all the touch devices from apple

    google it and you'll see...
well you need firmware 2.2+ but that shouldn't be a prob since you have 3.0

Yep, I was wrong Sorry, guys, I had a bad mike. I traded it out and this one works fine, except there's no room for the headphone plug... :-?
