I can use Skype to call using my Mac computer while wirelessly connected using my home network. I paid the $10 min to call non-Skype phone connections, i.e., a land line phone and I can complete a call to a land line phone.

I can successfully use my iPod Touch 1G to accomplish a Skype test call and a Fring test call using the Fring App. When doing the test, I speak into a Macally iVoice III microphone.

HOWEVER, when I try to call a land telephone number using my iPod Touch 1G with the Macally iVoice II microphone, the call is immediately terminated.

What can I do to use my iPod Touch 1G to make phone calls to land line phones?

I really want to use the Macally iVoice III microphone for voice notes. It appears there are no Apps to accomplish this.

    Any suggestions?
