Hi, been reading here a while but first time posting.

Just wondering if anyone can help with an error I cant get past in the redsnow jailbreak.

Iv built the custom .ipsw and done all the Unzip.txt stuff in the mac tutorial but whenever I enter the first ./rslite command I get 'Bus Error'

I take it that the error means Terminal can't access the USB port to get going but I have no idea why.

All I can think of is that libusb isnt working but again, clueless as to why not.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I have exactly the same problem and i have installed libusb too. Apparently it can be to do with the sort of software/hardware your computer is running, so if it is an old mac it might not work. I have a mac mini so could be that

Yeah, I'm getting buserror also in 10.4.11 with libusb. Something is wrong with it most likely, of course if I figure out anything I'll post.

So, it appears that redj0hnny while it includes some libusb files, doesn't call the files in it's own directory. Next up, I'll try and replacing the library and save the original as a backup and see if that works...
