    I have been trying this for the past 6hours or so. Now that I believe I got past the error21. it currently is stuck on Preparing ipod for restore.

    Just before I finished typing this . it gave me a error 2005.

    Now it is on the black screen

    Two questions:
    What happens after I jailbreak it and turn the iPod off and back on? Will it run normally, just unjailbroken?
    Also, if I then rejailbreak it, will all the settings be reset or will all the applications I installed after I jailbroke it still be there?

    The iPod will simply just not start when you turn it off. You must put it back into DFU mode and follow the instructions that I have laid out in the first post. When you restart the iPod, it will be exactly as you left it.

    Cant get past preparing ipod for restore . Can someone assist me ? or how do it get back to orginal state so I can try again ?

    Ok, I accidentally typed ./rslite one step before I was supposed to. How to I leave the [Recovery] prompt and go back to the [DFU] prompt so I can type iBSS221pwn.dfu ?

    Edit: Can I just close the terminal (which ends the processes login, bash, and rslite) and click restore in iTunes to start again?

    Edit 2: Nvm got it. And finally, no error 21. Restoring now!
