Back to the future I first want to bring your attention to the announcement of Snow Leopard at WWDC 2009. If you can remember, Steve Jobs Gave an overview. It wasn't officially released at WWDC, but rather announced on June 9th, 2009. It was released two months later on August 28, 2009. I can see why Apple would repeat history. I doubt we will be seeing the full build at WWDC 2012. My guess is an over view such like Snow Leopard at WWDC 2009. I could see Apple releasing Mountain Lion in August. So What is OSx Mountain Lion Gonna Give Us? Mountain Lion will include many new features that one would never imagine would be so vital to their user experience, until they actually have it. Facebook Intagration. I hope we finally see Facebook Intagration across OSx and iOS. Some users may be concerned with the Intagration publishing on their wall all the sites an music and activity they have been to. Many Mac and iOS users have enjoyed the simplicity of sharing documents, teething, and such tweets without actually logging into their Twitter Account No fear, there will be an option to disable the Integration. Air Play. Finally, something as simplistic as mirroring your Mac witelessly through your Apple TV module to your TV will be possible. This includes audio! No cords. Amazing! Notifications. Notifications will be simpler. They will appear on the right of the screen, accessible with a Swipe of your fingers on the trackpad. Way simple, way awesome too! Retina System Overhaul? I can see as OSx and Macs begin to Adopt retina displays, that Apple will overhaul things such as the icon resolution. Texts will be crisper and richer. The system in general will look sharper. Likely...maybe, but I think OSx already has pretty darn dense resolution icons already! iMessage.. Pretty awesome to text with someone on a Computer. Can I see this being useful? DEFINITELY. Imagine this simplistic messaging system eliminating the need for Skype (not video Skype chat, but just chatting by typing). Okay, maybe between Apple device and Mac users. It would be extremely effective if iMessage came to Windows. Etc. Notes. We will begetting notes on OSx. Thumbs up. I use Notes all the time. We will also be able to search in Launch Pad so find a specific App...very helpful! I when you go to do updates for your Mac, it will now take you to the Mac App Store; much like iOS. If my new Mac comes with Lion?? Not to fear. Any new Mac just months before a new OSx release will get the free Apple program to freely upgrade to the new system. What do you think about Apple's Next Operating system? Is it a go for you?
Yeah, I'll get it, because it has full 64-bit support and better graphics acceleration. I don't care for anything else.
