mac os x to leopard.....

    im running mac os x now and im about to install leopard. but i was wondering after i install leopard is everything going to be deleted? by everything, i mean documents, other programs i downloaded, etc.

    So wait, are you on Mac OS X Tiger currently?

    Because you can choose to upgrade and it'll keep your stuff the way it is.

    Or you can choose to archive and install and it will move all the files into once place so you can retrieve them later.

    It depends, you're switching over operating systems.
    You could create backups just incase.

    yea im on tiger....i guess i shoulda said that. anyways is there jus somethin i have to click on to keep everything how it is and just "upgrade" my os?

    From what I remember, there is an option for that. There should be a button on the bottom left side somewhere. I'm a but fuzzy on this because I haven't reinstalled Leopard in a while.

    Let me go check, I'll come back with the results.
