Is it possible to add a weather and date and calender etc widget on your desktop?
If so, could anyone link me or tell me how to do it please?
    Thanks.

Open terminal, write "defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES"

    restart your computer

bring Dashboard up, then drag one of your Dashboard widgets around. While you're still dragging it around (that's critical: keep that mouse button down!) press your computers hotkey and bring down the dashboard, the widget you where dragging should stay.

I dont think they will do that. Its laggy on Vista so much. I hate it, I love that apple actually has a hiding option all you have to do to view them it click on the scroll ball if you have a mouse.
