Mac Ipod Touch File Browser

    You don't need a file browser if you have a Mac, you already have everything you require installed

    Please Register or Log in to view images

    (on the Mac that is).

    Firstly, on your iPod, install AFPd from the installer. Slide Server Active to ON, Broadcast Active to ON and then set a service name e.g. "My iPod" or whatever.

    Then, your iPod should appear in Finder!
    To browse the file system, simply hit "Connect As" and enter the following:

    Username: root
    Password: alpine

    !! Make sure they are both connected to the same network, definitely helps haha (personal experience)

    There you go, full root access to your iPod's file browser through the convenience of Finder.

    also if you want to use a program to do it but not the built in one from Mac, Cyberduck is the best.

    You can use WinSCP or CuteFTP Pro. Just google them.
