i have an imac 2009 edition, and every time that my computer falls asleep, it gets disconnected from wifi. When it gets disconnected then all my downloads get interrupted, and thats really annoying! anyone know of a setting or app to stop it?

Go to Settings > Energy Saver, then set it to however you like.

What I do is go to System Preferences > Exposé and set one of the screen corners to "Put Display to Sleep". That way, you can just move your mouse to the corner you set to turn off the display.

Im pretty sure theres an app called insomnia that does exactly that. Its on the iPod/iPhone but I think it was originally made for OSX.

Well, InsomniaX keeps the display on, and he wants it to be off.
