Okay I have tried various commands using Mobile Terminal such as the following:

    ifconfig en0 ether 00:00:00:00:00:00
    ifconfig en0 lladdr 00:00:00:00:00:00

It gets to the point where it does not return an error and the command seems to work but when i run ifconfig to check if it worked it still shows my original mac address.

    I have a iPod Touch 2nd Generation Firmware 3.1.2 Jailbroken with BlackRa1n.

I am sure it has something to do with that, but if anyone knows a solution please share.

Note: The reason i want to do this is because my older brother blocked my mac in his router settings and i want to get around it. Thank you all in advance.

Edit: If anyone knows any other app like mobile terminal to allow mac address spoofing, please inform me.

as far as i know, you can't. unless you had the password to his router config.

I use SpoofMAC. I have the 1st gen though. Not sure if it works for the 2nd gen.

You can't change the MAC Address on the 2nd Gen

Just go onto the router, and delete your mac, put his, change the user and pass from admin:admin
