I only just installed Handbrake a few hours ago, and proceeded to convert my music videos which I want to play on my iPod. The original videos before conversion were ".avi" and ".mkv" (Matroska Video).
The converted videos - M4V - play fluently on iTunes itself, but don't sync to my Touch.

I don't really want to play it on iTunes, but rather, just on my Touch. Have I possibly used the wrong converter? No error messages come up.

Open to ANY suggestions, and help. Thanks very much in advanced.

If you are talking about mp4 then i suggest you use ipodme as i am using it and no problem whatsoever. But You need to install framework 2.0 or higher if its already installed then its fine.

Ah, ok. I was wondering, because .mp3 is a audio file

Is it worth the money spent? I read reviews saying it crashes often...

It's either that, or wait for VLC which will be FREE!

    Hmm, I won't wait.
I just heard you can convert using an in-built itunes feature. It may take a lifetime to finish, but I won't bother getting apps for it, unless it's for wifi

If you right click on the file, or go to Advanced, is there an option to "Create iPhone/iPod Version"?

Indeed there is. I'll probably use that, even though it'll take ages to finish (I got 5 music videos, each about 50-80MB
