This is a discussion thread for the "Low Touchscreen Yields Supposedly Contributing to Higher iPad Mini Price" story posted on the front page.
Interesting. New touchscreen technology would be great to experiment with on a device like the iPad Mini.
I doubt the yield has much to do with the price. Apple would sell the iPad Mini at whatever price they think is 'fair' and still get a nice profit. Would they have went lowered the price if they had a higher quantity of touchscreen panels? Doubt it. What do you mean?
