i'm registered with freecall, which there are numerous documentations for on this site, can call out fine. super. i registered with ipkall, which forwards incoming calls to a specified number to that sip account. http://phone.ipkall.com/ipphone/ fill out the requirements, with accountname instead of number, and they'll give you a number. call it, and your ipod rings. bangin.

any help as far as sip providers that dont use sms verification?
or help me convert my number, i'm in america, my area code is 336.
    regular number: 1-336-xxx-xxxx
    international format for freecall: ??
    has anyone bought from them?
last question: ringtones. how, what folder, etc.

As far as I know, you can't convert your number you get from ipkall.com to another number.
    Ringtones, watch this video.
    http://filesmelt.com/Filehosting2/downloader.php?file=2008-03-26_1652.swf
To watch this video, save to your computer, open in Internet Explorer and it will ask you on the toolbar to run the activex control.
Right click and click ok or w/e it says to allow it.
It will refresh, wait for the video to load and then click the Big play button.

The free trial of freecall is killer though...You can only make a couple calls before paying. That's why I'm trying a bunch of other methods.
