Ok when I jailbroke my 3.0 the system memory (500mb OS part) is nearly full. And the last thing I installed I got a low memory message right after. I only have a couple things installed. I had more things installed on 2.2.1 and it wasn't nowhere near this full. And I dfu mode restored my iPod 2.2.1 over 5 times before updating to a clean 3.0. I'm pretty sure that would have gotten any leftovers. Then I jailbroke and this happened. Is anybody else having this problem? (I searched) Is this a bug or something?

Hmm. It could be some of the extra features installed into the system portion of the iPod that came from 3.0 firmware. I don't know though. What have you installed so far?

I really think that since 3.0 has more features built into the OS, that means we lose how much we can install with cydia. Maybe it also could be difference between final 3.0 and 3.0GM. I'm using the final.
