Lots of restores

    I dont know if this is a dumb question but can resotoring the ipod a lot mess it up in any way?
    Like slowing it down or anything?

    No.

    An iPod uses flash memory, not a HDD. If you did on an iPod Video or whatever, it might because it causes the hard disk to spin a lot.
