I've recently soft-upgraded to 1.1.3 and really do not like the effects it's having on everything else. My question is, if I downgrade from 1.1.3, will it cause me to lose all my music on my iPod? When I downgraded from 1.1.2 (non-JB), I lost all my music and applications (maybe because I went into recovery mode instead of shift-click?) - but this method uses recovery mode.

I don't wanna downgrade if it means losing everything again!

All my media is auto Sync'd on my iTunes, with the checkboxes.

For EVERY JB, withought Fail, I do a clean install.

    Its the safest way.....

Gah, it's just a pain in the bum as the original files are dotted everywhere, including duplicates. It's an even bigger pain getting rid of the duplicates.

Can I just copy my music off my iPod onto the computer (through SSH or USB?) and then transfer it all back? Or will that not work because of album art, etc.? Please tell me the directories in which it's all stored in too.

    Thanks
