This happen on the left side of the Ipod mostly the bottom
This happen to other two of my friend touch also
So I assume this is normal(when you test yours make sure you press the very corner of the black part not the chrome)

    And tell me the result

This affects most/some iPod touches... Nothing really to worry about.

There nothing much it seem to effect all second generation ipod touch

The left side of the screen is very loose(NOT SOLID, This is not a problem for me but for other that when they buy an iPod they think of an solid mp3 player)
But the right side does not(solid)

You can test it your self by pressing the left bottom corner of the screen it will press down ward(abit) >> cause there is no base on the left side

This also happen on the top left but not as much

It happen cause apple change the position of the screw to save space or some other part(its thinner)

    More information

The left side does not bend down but the hold screen shift down to the left(cause glass cant bend)
Its like there nothing below to left side of the screen so it can be push down
OR we can say the there nothing pulling to right side.

I dont really care cause I just bought it so if any happen I can replace it.

Its does not effect any thing other than Ipod Touch !!!2G!!! Only
Cause of the design change to make it thinner.

I have a 2g i touch and the bottom left corner (the black bit) creaks, and feels not as solid, this disappointed me a bit but mostly its a great product, just wish I had bought the 32gb version instead of the 16
