Hi. I just got an iPod Touch 4G and I was looking for some good turn based strategy and RPG games. I am looking for turn based squad tactical strategy games like the X-Com and Jagged Alliance series and for turn based strategy games similar to Uniwar, which I played on my Android phone and really enjoyed. As for the RPGs I´m looking for RPGs with turn based combat in the Fallout 1 and 2 style (third person) or the Wizardy series (first person), but not JRPGs. Thanks a lot in advance.
Quite possibly the best strategy style game I've played is called 'Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective'. Basically the game starts off with you waking up to discover you've somehow died and are now a ghost who possesses supernatural powers which allow you to manipulate inanimate objects as well as go back in time to five minutes before a persons death. The objective of the game is to discover who you are and how you died. The first few levels are free and after that you have to pay something like $15 for the rest (I think there are 18 levels in total so it equals out to be around $1 per extra level). I don't know how well I've described the game but check it out since the download and first few levels are free.
