    i need help. as i said before........HELP!!! My warranty is over over and my headphone jack recently stopped working! I need help. I have $80 skullcandy T.I and i don't want to get new ones. im sure They work but i need help! Sometimes they both work but usually i have to do a bunch of crap just to get both of them to work! I live in a redneck town and the apple store is a 2 hour drive. the skullcandy's work cause ive tried them on another ipod touch! Its jailbroken on 2.2 and it is an ipod touch 1G. HELP!!!!!! on By The Way IM ONLY 13!!!     Your headphone jack is broken? water damage? if so do the Q-Tip + Alco trick

    restore, im sure ur pissed off, but try restoring, and go in dfu mode
    hold home for 10 sec while connected to itunes. idk

    did u ever get anything in headphone jack before

    ok whats alco trick? and i have restored about 5 times.

    its when u take some alcohol, and rub it on a cotton thingy that u clean ur ears wit, and put it in ur headphone jack, let it dry out, and it should work

    Ok i usually get it to work so i can hear from both ears but if i move it a little the sound either crackles or goes away.

    I've never needed it, but i have used it on multiple Sony walkmans and other things with headphone jacks

    Erm, seen as your warranty is voided, you might as well take it apart. and see if there is a problem
