    It looks to be interesting, but I wish that Apple would do something different and innovative with that extra screen real-estate. With that said, iOS 6 isn't about that - it's about breaking the ties to Google, and adding nice little features and UI touches to make the OS feel more up to date.

    So maybe in iOS 7. Apple knows it can't just sit on the almost exact same UI forever.

    Maybe I'm just used to the old iPhones but even the screen on the "iPhone 5" mock-ups are ugly.

    Yeah! Like make the multitasking bar always visible, or a world clock option, or even a weather or rss feed widget.

    Yeah the whole rounded square icon grid is just becoming inadequate now (and a bit ugly). Every other mobile OS offers a way of providing data right from the home-screen. iOS just offers a bunch of shortcuts. Windows has Live Tiles that constantly push new information. Android has widgets.

    Apple is using Siri as a widget system but using your voice isn't exactly practical outside of your home.
