LOL, Stupid Microsoft

    this was so funny, the other day i decided to install xp on my iMac through bootcamp. After I installed it I was like "Crap, stupid 30 day thing," so I decided to see if vista would work. I popped in the vista Upgrade

    an LOW AND BEHOLD IT WORKED AND ACTIVATED!

    You can go from inactivated xp to vista upgrade, thought I would share this just in case you want to save money on vista and have an old copy of xp lying around.

    That worked because Vista wasn't activated on the second computer. Once 30 days is up, you will have to activate Vista or refromat the drive.

    it is, we use the other one too, and this one is activated

    it's not a mystery, the key gets reset every 30 days therefore your key works because it has been awhile since you last changed computers you were installing on
