Lol, new problem :D

    Now, I tried to jailbreak my friends ipod and now I think it is bricked. I think I have to restore so again, is there any way I can get around updating when I restore. Also you help the main problem. The screen is black with backlight on amd it has been this way for about 5-10 mins so I tried running blkrn again and it failed saying it is aready jailbroken. tips?

    Hold the shift key when you click restore, and select the 3.1.2 firmware file.

    axis, you're a godsend! Just one question, where is the 3.1.2 file located? Im on Windows

    crap, when I bought my ipod, it already had 3.1.2... Any ideas now?

    you're iPod's probably a 3rd gen. are you trying to jailbreak with redsn0w?

    i thought it was 3.1.1 . Mine was. 3rd gen owners get 3.1.2 for free off itunes.

    Only thing u can do is restore to 3.1.3... Lol
