Logic board swap???

    I have a 3g 8g got my hands on a 16g logic board..Can i simply swap the logic board and turn my 8g into 16g? i know how to do it. just wanna make sure it will work

    it might work. there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with doing that.

    My friend has accomplished this. However, make sure you know what you're doing... You could cause serious damage otherwise. If I'm right it voids your warranty too, so if that's another step you wanna take...

    my iphone works fine i just got ths logicboard from a 16g cause the case was all cracked from someone TRING to open it so i salvaged all the parts

    what could u do to cause damage it only removes with 7 screws and 3 plugs besides maybe short it out if it gets shocked but from handleing it im sure theres not much damage u could do to the logicboard as long as u dont break anything

    i dont think a 3g part will go into a 2g

    Curious, would a 3GS logic board work in a 3G? Would love to upgrade my 8GB 3G to something faster..

    The boards look identical..
