Is it possible to lock Sbsettings with Locktopus? o.o
From what I know, it isnt
Probably not, and it slightly defeats the point of having quick settings at a simple swipe...
I meant the "more" option when I swipe it.
Ask Axis, the co-developer of the tweak. He's a mod here.
Locktopus provides a form of "pseudo-securitry" which protects users from the stereotypical nosy/annoying co-worker or friend. If someone /really/ wants to access your data, and has physical access to your device, you're in trouble. Locktopus cannot provide industrial-strength security without interfering with other products like SBSettings, or circumventing Safe Mode. Doing any of those things is not a good idea.
When my partner and I developed Locktopus, our aim was to provide with seamless SpringBoard integration a thin layer of protection from prying eyes. We maintain the belief that our decision was the best for our product's viability in the market and for the users themselves.
In other news, we're currently rewriting Locktopus and we're excited with the progress and new ideas so far.
