I recently upgraded/updated Lockdown (free,) and then everything got unlocked. When I tried the lock the applications that I wanted to lock, they were still unlocked, and when I opened Lockdown up, it asked me to setup again. Solutions? ;o Thanks.

Don't use lockdown. Use Locktopus. It is so much better. But you have to pay for it - not sure exactly how much.

    lockdown is not ios4 tested

in other words it only works on 3.XX firmwares and also 2.xx

it usually sends u into a bootloop.

you are lucky to not be in a bootloop right now..

    UNINSTALL/REMOVE LOCKDOWN IMMEDIATELY

Get Locktopus. iProtect is $9, Locktopus is $2. iProtect is numeric passcode only, Locktopus is alphanumeric. Locktopus supports SpringBoard locking/unlocking apps, you must open the iProtect app to lock/unlock apps (also I've found that for some reason iProtect didn't give me the option of locking some jailbreak apps). The advantages of iProtect however are you can disable app deletion/moving around the SpringBoard, and if your phone gets stolen and they swap the SIM card, iProtect will send a text message to a preconfigured number telling you your iPhone's new number which makes it easier to find (I think they should change this feature to an email).
