Okay so I jailbroke my iPod touch last night using Comex's jailbreakme.com. It worked and everything but when I got to cydia and downloaded Lockdown it told me I had to restart the springboard. So I tapped the button and the wheel started spinning non-stop for 2 minutes or more. Frustrated I force restarted my iPod touch and something happened that I can't explain. Whle my ipod touch was rebooting, this streak of different colors suddenly came across the screen of my iPod touch and then the wheel started spinning and it took me to safe mode. Everytime I tried to restart it would just take me right back to safe mode. So I removed Lockdown and now I can't download Lockdown without it constantly going into safe mode. How do I fix this? When I searched on the forums here about my problem everybody told the person to remove Lockdown. I want Lockeown though. Thanks!

I didn't read anything. Lockdown is not compatible with iOS4. Uninstall it in Safe Mode. Thats it.

    you have to remove it.
It's not comparable with ios4 yet so you'll have to wait till it's updated...

It puts a password lock on apps you choose.

Just uninstall the source and any packages that came with it - then respring / restart.

If you can afford it get Locktopus. It's pretty awesome, lets you lock apps by holding them down so hey wiggle like if you want to move or delete them, then hit a little lock in the bottom left and they get locked. It's Pretty intuitive.
