google is a great place to get ANY sounds

    most can be themed in

    theme/UISounds/

    originals are in /System/Library/Audio/UISounds/

use that folder to find the name of the one you want to theme

If you have Windows 95 - Windows 7, there's a good chance you can find some cool sounds to use on your iPod. I know in XP, the sounds are located in C\windows\media. Not sure if it's the same on any other windows OS.

I am using the infrared sounds on my iPod. They sound pretty cool

you can just use iTunes to change the sounds to aif and then rename them to .caf files. If you're using windows you need to make sure you have known extensions enabled(in folder options).

    For example:
    a file lock.aif gets named lock.caf
you should get a warning about changing the extension. just click ok.
