I've been a long time reader here for a while, and there has been some wonderful help here.

I've just about perfected my Ipod touch..

I got the icons set, the wallpaper perfect, and my slider.....

The only thing that bugs me are the bars on the lock screen..

I enjoy seeing the clock/date and time and the slider... but that Black/gray bar on the top behind the clock and on the bottom behind the slider throws and hides part of my wallpaper (which is a football player).

I don't want to make these transparent... but maybe more like a color that fits the lockscreen wallpaper??

I've SSH'd into the ipod and looked at hundreds of .pngs trying to find these long and narrow bars on the lockscreen, but have no luck.

So could ya help me out one last time here? Thanks.

What colour would you like it and what degree of transparency?
Like 90% transparent with a red shade?
    Or what?
Or if you wanna do it yourself I can give you the template and tell you where to put it

I would like to try it myself so I can learn, so would you be kind enough to give me the top bar template and the bottom bar template, and let me go to work?

I'm not too shabby at photoshop... I know how to make things transparent, but I just don't know where to put the bars or anything.

I'm looking for like a silver transparent bar for the top and bottom... mostly because silver goes with everything.

But I'd like to try it myself.

BTW, I have winterboard if that matters...

I had this when I was on 1.1.4, it looks great. I would really love if you could make just a plain transparent top bar for behind the clock if you could?

    Thanks

Why don't you check Customize? You might find something there.

They have this package on Cydia called Un-Unlocker. Just go download that ... open winterboard ... and apply it.

If you want a normal slider instead of the invisible one ... tell me what slider you want and I'll edit it for you.

Plus if you want one of your favorite themes fitted with the transparent stuff ... just tell me how you want it and I'll get to work.

This goes for the O.P too.

    I think it's called un-unlockable.

Sweet it worked... but is there a way I can have my slider showing, but not the top part??
