I dont know how it happened and i searched and i cant find a fix...

When I click an app it opens perfectly but then the touch screen gets disabled. The touch screen on works on the home screen. I can exit and open an app fine. And when I lock the ipod i still see the "slide to unlock" even though the screen is off. HELP!!!!

don't tell me that you installed "Caterpillar" if you did, uninstall that crap...it's one of the main programs that will cause that.

I'm not sure, but applications that deal with the system and internal things are very risky...I won't say an application would cause a problem because it only launches from a folder, but if it requires system files then that can corrupt something and cause issues..not saying to uninstall anything, but its worth a shot, besides, what do you have to loose?
