There are some apps that notify me I have location services turned off and want to know if I want to turn it on. I can understand it asking at startup, one time. But I am CONSTANTLY nagged by this! For example, if I am using IM whenever I do anything it pops up. If I leave a conversation, pop. If I jump to contacts, pop. If I change my online status, pop. Or let's say I am using YellowPages. If I do a search, pop. If i find what I am looking for and select it to get the phone number, pop. This is super annoying. Anyways to stop it besides turning on location?

If there is a way to stop it I think it would be in the apps built in settings. There is no way in the iPhone OS settings. As far as I know there is no mod that will take off the location settings but that doesn't mean its impossible.

Please someone, explain why there is no cydia package to fix this nagging !

Ok there is one, it's FakeLocation

I recall having tried it, 6 month ago, It's still broken.

hitting "set" (fake location) does nothing and the default location (middle of the ocean) does not work either.
