Location of startup apple logo .png

    I want to use a custom logo instead of the apple logo when powering on the itouch. Does anyone know where the file is located in the itouch?

    that would be sick. i could make a cool one for my vista theme. i got a great idea for that.

    Rofl i've known since first jailbreak its in the springboard folder.. but when you change it it dont seem to change so :/ and apple has like customized there pngs you cant edit them like you used to be able to

    yeah i gave applelogo.png a try already. I dont think the icon is in the springboard folder

    The icon is actually in the firmware file. This makes it a little harder to work with.
