yesterday i posted and asked about the "Other" in itune - why all of a sudden I have 261mb used. http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40159

Today, I decided to look around inside the ipod w/ WinSCP and noticed that with the Application folder, I have another Application. and it appears that that is where stuff is being install into. (hint: I installed Bosstool.. and its located in /private/var/Applications/Applications (see image below)

    is this normal?

Back you iPod up, then try deleting the second applications folder.

if i delete the second Application folder.. wouldnt that means all my application will not work since there's where they are installed?? For Example, looking at the 2nd Application folder, it has Weather.App and Stock.App. i never installed those in the past until i jailbreak to 1.1.3.

I'm nearly 100% sure if you copied everything out of the one in the /private/var/applications/applications directory and just moved them into the normal applications directory they would work just fine.

I have a feeling this should be posted in 1.1.3 Application Compatibility section. Or the Applications Section.

It could be bad, maybe your symlink is directed to that second apps folder.
    So don't mess.

nah, if I move all the apps folders inside /private/var/applications/applications to /private/var/applications, i dont see it how it will work fine.

ya, i dont plan on moving it. if anything I think i would delete all the folders inside "/private/var/applications" except for "applications" folder.
