So I went retro for a while. I stayed on my jailbroken 1.1.1 since yesterday. Well....I decided it was time to go to 1.1.2 So I installed oktoprep, back some of my roms up and what not, then updated. Right after the update, my ipod went to the standby screen. In the center of that screen was a spiraling loading thingy. It did that until I finally reset, only to keep doing it again after reseting. So.......I restored to 1.1.2 (planning to downgrade and retry), but....AFTER the restore I had the loading spiral at the home screen. What's going on?

Had you not've rebooted, you'd've been fine. You have just encountered the Spinning Wheel of Death. The cause was not turning off "Auto Check" in your Mail Settings. Since you rebooted and killed off any WiFi, you have no choice but to restore.

Someone should probably make a thread about that and sticky it to avoid problems like mine.

Just a note, try to just edit the post that you had, so there aren't so many double posts. Thanks.
