I hate making these help posts, but I need help.... So here's the background: I have an iPod Touch 1G running 3.1.2 jailbroken with blackra1n.
I installed wubi to dualboot with windows 7. When I boot to ubuntu, i load up terminal, cd to the directory, and sudo su. I plug in my ipod in DFU mode. When I type ./loadibec, it just says Permission denied. How do I solve this?
as a sidenote: my wifi isn't working in ubuntu (it wont detect my wireless network)

DFU mode? It's supposed to be in recovery mode.

I had the same thing happen to me. I used an Openiboot build from here, and just followed this tutorial.

Put your iPod in recovery mode and try this:

    ./sudo loadibec openiboot.img3

You first have to right clock loadibec and oibc and allow read write permissions on the file.
